“ Great little dive ”
“ The only bar in the apple of my eye in downtown Scranton. A universal place to feel welcome and supported by community and make/ find friends. Frequently, it's the best place to be at midnight. I love the Bog sm ... ”
“ Really great cute little divey bar. Has a lot of charm. Drink pours are heavy and drinks are inexpensive. Bartenders are friendly. ”
“ I've only been here one time, but this place is great. I didn't know what to expect from the outside. I thought I was entering another typical Scranton city bar. Little did I know, this place is really supportive of the local arts and performance scene. Just walk over to the jukebox... You immediately notice its all local bands! I've been to many bars in my day, but haven't seen anything like this before. If you're looking for a warm and inviting atmosphere with a friendly staff (and some adult beverages) I highly recommend this place. ”
“ Great local bar just a few blocks from hotels, a mix of college and older folks which as an older folk myself, I appreciated! They have a great selection of draft beer (imported German beer and I spied Fiddlehead from VT!) and well above the usual suspects of spirits you get at a typical bar. Fast and friendly service and coming from Philly/NYC prices, SO affordable! Highly recommend if you're in the area. ”
“ Another stop recommended by several friends who used to be locals - and it sure lives up! Met Brian & Bob, two of the three owners - took some whiskey with the boys and got in a game of Golden Tee! Incredibly priced drinks and very friendly staff and patrons. Further, the walls are decorated with local artists' works that you can actually purchase, local supporting local! ”
“ What a great place to enjoy a pint. Our bartender was top notch and very helpful. And he nailed the pour. Original looking and just great to sit at a table, enjoy some drinks and have some great conversations...and you didn't have to yell over bad music. You must make this a stop, especially if you're planning a visit. ”
